Every lyric tells my story
Alani Leora Dsouza is a young and talented singer who began her musical journey at the age of 4. At just 8 years old, she made history as the youngest singer to perform live for a full hour on Daijiworld TV, where she sang seven beautiful songs and gave a charming interview.
Now 9 years old, Alani continues to shine. On January 5, 2025, she performed her very own “Alani Melody Nite” at Kalaangann, Mangalore, enchanting a packed audience with her soulful voice and musical charm.
On December 22, 2024, she performed at the Mini Wilfy Nite at Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore, paying tribute to Wilfy Rebimbus and other legends of Konkani music. She also had a special performance at Nihal’s Concert on December 28, 2024, at Shirva Church Grounds, where she sang in a dedicated segment.
Alani has performed in over 50 programs, including Holy Communions, Christenings, and various public events. Her Konkani cover songs have touched many hearts online.
In recognition of her talent, she received the Rotary Rising Star Award 2023. Alani is currently learning piano, violin, guitar, and keyboard at respected music academies, while also continuing her vocal training under experienced mentors — all while balancing her school studies.
Apart from singing, Alani is often invited to do video announcements for Konkani competitions, Brass Band Fests, and cultural events. Her clear voice, confident presence, and sweet charm make her a favourite among organizers.
Alani’s deep love for Konkani music and culture started at home, where her family often played Konkani songs. She enjoys watching Konkani shows, reading Konkani books, and listening to traditional music.
Her dream is to become a music teacher, so she can teach and inspire children, sharing the joy of music with future generations.

Alani's first-ever stage performance was during a Cradling Ceremony in Paladka, where she beautifully sang a lullaby for the child of Rolson & Reshma Pais — a heartfelt and memorable moment that marked the beginning of her journey as a stage performer.

At just 8, Alani became the youngest child artist to perform a full-hour live show on Daijiworld TV, singing 7 songs and sharing her passion in an interview.

Alani has captivated audiences in over 30 live shows, enchanting them with her soulful voice and magnetic presence.
Honored with a cash prize sponsored by ‘Mandd Sobhan’ and Kalaangann Chairman Mr. Ronald Mendonca for her heartfelt rendition of the Konkani movie song ‘Monan Monan,’ which gained widespread social media praise.

Recognized for her exceptional musical talent and contribution to music, Alani received the Rotary Rising Star Award from Rtn. HR Keshav, District Governor of RI Dist 3181.

A student at Carmel Central School and Welthas School of Music, Alani continues to develop her piano and violin skills while balancing her academic pursuits.

Aspiring to be a music teacher, Alani shares her performances on her social channel maintained by her father, inspiring many Konkani music lovers.
